- chose a font style and color to complement her website, and
- found royalty free images to create a beautiful 14 page ebook.

Red is also a color that stimulates the appetite, so it was a perfect choice for a book of recipes.

Donna Brook’s coach encouraged her to show the depth and breadth of her skills and knowledge as both a Family Nurse Practitioner and a certified holistic health coach. - bright bold headlines
- lots of tips that were easy-to-consume, with
- pictures to keep her readers’ attention.

Julia Donnelly and Linda Sanders’ book on project management for parents contains lots of useful information plus checklists, spreadsheets and forms. The challenge in designing their condensed free e-book was to inform but not overwhelm. How? By using:
- lots of white space
- a narrow text column, plus
- large numbers in the extra wide margins
